Nathalie Christmas is a director, photographer, writer, and artist. Upon graduating in 2011 with a BA in Visual Arts, Nathalie garnered praise from Slamdance Film Festival, Dazed and Confused, and Nowness for writing and directing coming-of-age films, “Rose and Sophia,” and “Seashells.” Born and raised in a farm-town with five sisters, much of their work centers around a femme perspective. Informed by autobiography and queer identity, their stories take on new life through paradox and exploration of genre. Nathalie currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
